I’m experienced in marketing homes, negotiating prices and offers, finding homes based on specific requirements, helping families managing the selling of their home while buying a new one and so much more.
I offer you start to finish services to ensure that you find the perfect home.
The Process
There are many steps that you have to follow when looking to buy a home.
Before you start looking, it’s important to establish a few things:
- What’s your budget?
- How will you fund the purchase of the property?
- How much space do you need?
- What areas are looking to buy in?
Once you’ve answered these basic questions you can start narrowing your search.
Most people will have a mortgage. If you choose this option, you must be pre-approved for one before you can officially begin looking for a home.
Being pre-approved means that we can confidently look for homes in the right price range. This can save a lot of time and help you move into your dream home faster.
When we find a place that you like, having the pre-approved mortgage also means that we can act fast and put in an offer without any delays.
It’s also important that you have a down payment plan. This can consist of money that you’ve saved up and put aside for the purchase, money that you’ve borrowed from family, or money you’ve saved by other means.
If all of this is sounding overwhelming, don’t worry. I make sure to sit down with all my clients so I walk them through every step of the process. I’ll be sure to answer every question you have so that you feel in control through the whole buying process.
We can go over everything from inspection options and costs, the deposit and down payment, legal fees, and most importantly, your wants and needs.
I even ensure that my clients are set up with specific searches on the MLS database. This ensures that new listings are brought to your attention right away so we can act fast if something catches your eye.
